How to participate in IDO

On Polkastarter:

There are three ways to become eligible for whitelisting:

Hold POLS in your wallet for a minimum of 7 days; or
Hold POLS liquidity provider tokens on Uniswap or PancakeSwap for a minimum of 7 days; or
Stake POLS on the new dashboard. This grants instant access to whitelist eligibility, but locks your tokens for 7 days.
Counting from both supported chains, Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain.

POLS Power:

For every 250 POLS Power you collect, you have one entry in the lottery for every whitelist you apply for.

POLS Tiers:

To further incentivize holding and staking the POLS token, not only do you receive tickets for every 250 POLS Power you accumulate, but the more tickets you have, the more they are worth. Polkastarter has 5 different POLS tiers as outlined below.

250+ POLS Power = 1.0x — Every ticket is worth 1 ticket
1,000+ POLS Power = 1.1x — Every ticket is worth 1.1 tickets
3,000+ POLS Power = 1.15x — Every ticket is worth 1.15 tickets
10,000+ POLS Power = 1.20x — Every ticket is worth 1.20 tickets
30,000+ POLS Power = 1.25x — Every ticket is worth 1.25 tickets & No Cooldown

Providing Liquidity:

If you provide liquidity to the ETH-POLS pool on Uniswap or on BNB-POLS on PancakeSwap, your LP tokens will also be counted towards your overall POLS Power. Each ETH-POLS LP token is the equivalent of 100 POLS. Each BNB-POLS LP token is the equivalent of 20 POLS. Therefore, the 250 POLS required for a ticket is equal to 2.5 LP tokens and 12.5 LP tokens respectively (subject to change).

On TrustPad:

TrustPad uses a Levels System to determine the amount of guaranteed allocation a participant is entitled to. These levels start from 15k TPAD being staked in the IDO staking pool and can go up to 185k TPAD. The multiplier assigned to each level calculates how much allocation is provided per a base allocation, which is set once the registration period closes shortly before the start of the raise.

There are also lower lottery levels, starting from 3k TPAD which give you a much higher chance of obtaining an allocation when compared to the public whitelist.

About Syn City

Syn City is building a mafia metaverse with the following features:

Free to play and earn: anyone can come and engage, no ownership of NFT needed
Multiple revenue streams: users would have multiple revenue streams by engaging from grinding through events, re-allocating assets to generate returns, and lead your syndicate to earn like a mob through the MaaD system.
Focus on the mafia vertical, making it easy for people to click and engage and easy to form a consensus.

The Mafia-as-a-DAO (MaaD) consists of leaders on the High Table that manage the governance committee. Users are incentivized and Syn City revenue is generated by the MaaD system.

Players stake $SYN to generate $sPOWER and delegate that to the syndicate leaders. There are unlimited syndicates with unlimited leaders, but only top 7 leaders with the most $sPOWER will be allowed to join the High Table to manage the governance committee which shapes the earnings events and allocate the earnings pool.
Syndicate leaders could offer benefits in assets, special events, and many others to the members of their syndicates for recruitment, engagement and loyalty.
Syndicate leaders can tax their members for the benefits offered. The Syn City then platform charges a tax to the syndicates, out of which a portion goes to the overall community as Universal Basic Income (UBI), rest goes to the developers.

$SYN Token

$SYN is the governance token for the metaverse and core of the Mafia-as-a-DAO system. Users stake $SYN to generate votes to delegate to any syndicate leaders. A limited number of the highest voted leaders will be on the High Table to govern the earning pools of the metaverse.
