What is Diffuse Protocol?
Diffuse Protocol is a decentralized, zkServerless infrastructure designed to bring off-chain data on-chain securely and efficiently. It utilizes verifiable Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) enclaves combined with zero-knowledge virtual machines (zkVMs) to fetch data from public REST APIs—such as Binance, CoinMarketCap, and Dune—and generate zk-proofs for trustless on-chain verification. This architecture enables seamless integration of external data into blockchain applications without relying on centralized intermediaries.
Additionally, Diffuse supports cross-chain restaking, allowing users to lock assets on Layer 2 networks and earn rewards from Symbiotic vaults, thereby contributing to shared security on Ethereum. The protocol is compatible with a wide range of ecosystems, including Arbitrum, Optimism, Solana, Polygon, and Avalanche, facilitating broad interoperability across the Web3 landscape.
