AMAZY operates as a move-to-earn blockchain-based lifestyle app. Users can earn cryptocurrency by wearing NFT sneakers and moving around. The mission behind the project is to unite people to “explore the world of DeFi and Web3 together in a simple, clear and entertaining way”. The platform has two different tokens: AMT and AZY. AMT is the application’s internal token that can be earnt via the move-to-earn mechanism. Users can earn AMT whilst moving (walking, running, or jogging). AZY is the governance token of the AMAZY platform. It is a BEP-20 token and has a total supply of 1,000,000,000.

What are AMAZY’s key features and how does it work?

In order to use the AMAZY move-to-earn platform, users must download the application to their GPS-enabled smartphone. They must purchase a pair of virtual sneakers and will then earn tokens within their user’s daily energy limit. 1 energy unit is burnt per 5 minutes of movement, and every 6 hours energy is regenerated by 25%. 2 energy units are issued with a pair of common sneakers, the rarer the sneaker the more energy units issued. 

Each sneaker is unique both in design and type. There are four types of sneakers designed for different speeds of activity. Tokens will only be accrued with the ranges specified. These are Ranger (1-6km/h), Hiker (4-10km/h), Sprinter (8-10km/h) and Coacher, which is multipurpose ranging from 1-20km/h.

Also worth mentioning, sneakers have four different attributes that can be improved with chips of the same attributes. These are Performance, Fortune, Joy, and Durability. 

Performance affects the number of AMT tokens per unit burned during activity. The higher the performance the more tokens earnt. Fortune determines the chances of finding a chest with high-quality chips. Chests contain special prizes and can be found when moving around which. Joy impacts the speed of energy burning. The higher the joy the less energy is burnt. Durability affects damage to sneakers. Increased durability of sneakers means that fewer AMT tokens are needed to restore them.

The platform uses some deflationary mechanics in order to keep the value of AMT and AZY sustainable. For example, AMT is burned when a user mints a sneaker, or when consumed organically within the application.

The team plan to release further applications and hope that the AMAZY platform can operate as a host for other developer teams to run their own applications. A small fee is charged for using the platform which is put back towards ecosystem development, for example, this could include marketplace commissions.
