Arbitrum Launches Its Layer 3 Solution

This is an important milestone in the scaling development of Ethereum and the Arbitrum ecosystem.
Advantages of Using Arbitrum Orbit:
-
Full customization to the project’s needs;
-
Full EVM compatibility achieved through Stylus;
-
Low fees;
-
Account Abstraction (using any token to pay for gas);
-
Ethereum Security.
Arbitrum Orbit Alternatives
Arbitrum Orbit already has competitors. There are several similar solutions available today:
-
OP Stack. Optimism is a leader in this direction. Base, opBNB, DeBank Chain, and others are already working on its basis.
-
Polygon CDK. Polygon is actively working on a complete overhaul of its ecosystem, where chains running on Polygon CDK will be key contributors. Immutable, Gnosis Pay, Aavegotchi, and others have already joined it.
-
ZK Stack. Another solution from Matter Labs. So far, the team has not said much about these projects and only shared some technical documentation.
The main difference between Orbit and its alternatives is that Orbit allows the creation of Layer 3 blockchains with very flexible functionality.
The Future of Arbitrum Orbit
Several projects are already being built on Orbit:
XAI, Cometh, Syndr, Polychain Monsters, SankoGameCorp, Deri Protocol, Hook Protocol, OurSong, and Super Position.
With the release of Orbit, Arbitrum is entering a serious battle in the B2B segment with other Layer 2s. This will allow them to scale and grow their ecosystem.
